South West France truly is the heartbeat of food and wine in France. Not only can the Tarn et Garonne be described as the garden of France due to the sheer abundance of fresh amazing produce that is grown, reared and produced here but we also lay claim to some exquisite local restaurants such as our very local Auberge de Bardigues.

Visitors are treated to Michelin-starred establishments as well as humble but exquisite bistrots and cafés. The one thing that all have in common is a focus on quality, fresh and local ingredients.

The wines are also of a diversity and quality that is simply exquisite. The website of the Vins de Tarn et Garonne  has plenty of information on the little known appélations such as Brulhois and Quercy, hidden gems of south west France. The Armagnac, of course, speaks for itself. The more established and easily recognisable wines of St Emilion, Cahors and Fronton can also be classed as local to us here in the Tarn et Garonne.
